Licensed in New York and Florida, Nicole C. Soltau-Woods is an attorney skilled in business law, legislative drafting, estate planning and real estate. A native of Queens, New York, as a single mother Nicole received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Columbia, Master in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and JD from Florida A&M College of Law.
For over 18 years she worked in finance management assisting individuals and businesses with funding strategies and long-term financial solutions. As a top performer with Nations Bank, Bank of America and SunTrust Bank, Ms. Soltau-Woods was a trusted advisor to many and prided herself on treating everyone as family.
Her dedication to the civic, political and legal community has resulted in the service of countless volunteer hours. Nicole has served on the board of New Journey Youth Center, was one of the founding members and first President of the FAMU Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, in addition to volunteering with ACLU, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, Election Protection, Orange County Legal Aid Society and many others socially engaged non-profits.
Nicole has owned multiple businesses and was the founder and Executive Director of Peer One Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to inspire, lead, empower, mentor and advocate for those who have been victimized by domestic violence. Appointed by Mayor Teresa Jacobs and reappointed by Mayor Jerry Demings, Nicole served as Vice-Chair of the Orange County Nuisance Abatement Board.A devoted christian, Nicole enjoys spending quiet time in deep thought while reading books on spirituality. Her children, Ashley and Zion and grandchild Azaria bring the greatest joy to her life. She formed Soltau Law, PA as a dedicated way to make legal services available to all.
